General questions

What is SOHOON Technologies?

SOHOON Technologies is a full-service software house and digital agency operating across the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia and Pakistan. We design, build and grow software products — from websites and mobile apps to SaaS platforms, e-commerce stores and marketing automation — for clients who want one accountable partner rather than a chain of vendors.

Where are you based, and can you work with clients in my country?

Our core engineering team is based in Lahore, Pakistan, with presence in Dubai (UAE), Texas (USA), Toronto (Canada), Sydney (Australia) and London (UK). We work with clients globally and align to your timezone for daily collaboration.

Which time zones can you work in?

We collaborate with clients across the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia and Pakistan, so we can align to your working hours for calls and daily updates, wherever your business is based.

How do I contact you?

You can reach us at [email protected], call +1 346-590-6745, or use the contact form on our website. For a structured project conversation, the best starting point is our Request a Quote or Book a Consultation pages.

Pricing & engagement

How does SOHOON charge for work?

We offer three engagement models: fixed-scope projects (one price for a defined deliverable), dedicated team or monthly retainer (ongoing capacity at a monthly rate), and on-demand hourly work for smaller or unpredictable tasks. Every quote is tailored to your brief — we do not publish fixed menu prices because no two projects are the same.

Will there be hidden costs after the quote?

No. Our quotes are comprehensive and we flag any dependencies on third-party licences or services (hosting, APIs, software subscriptions) so you know the full picture before you commit. Any scope change is quoted separately and agreed in writing before work starts.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — for fixed-scope projects we typically structure payment as a deposit before work begins, milestone payments during the project and a final payment on delivery. For retainers, billing is monthly in advance. Payment schedules are always agreed upfront and written into the contract.

Can I start small and scale up?

Absolutely. Many clients start with a focused MVP or a single service, then expand to additional phases, features or channels as confidence in the partnership grows. There is no obligation to commit to everything at once.

Process & delivery

What happens after I send a quote request?

We review your brief and come back within 1–2 business days with clarifying questions. Once we have what we need, we schedule a discovery call (30–60 minutes) and then provide a clear scope document and price within a few days of that call.

How long do projects typically take?

A focused marketing website: 3–6 weeks. A mobile app or SaaS MVP: 8–16 weeks. An e-commerce store: 4–8 weeks. Timelines depend on scope, content readiness and how quickly feedback rounds are completed. We share a milestone plan before work starts so there are no surprises.

How involved do I need to be during the project?

We work best with a named client contact who can review deliverables and give feedback within 2 business days. You will attend sprint demos (30–45 minutes, every 1–2 weeks) and a few decision checkpoints. We handle the rest. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you prefer — we adapt to your availability.

Do you sign NDAs and contracts?

Yes. We sign an NDA before sharing sensitive details and provide a formal contract that covers scope, payment, IP ownership and confidentiality for every project. You own all work product we create for you.

Support & maintenance

What support do you offer after launch?

We offer monthly maintenance retainers covering updates, security, backups, bug fixes and performance monitoring. We also provide on-demand support for specific tasks or urgent fixes. Most clients stay on some form of support plan after launch.

What if something breaks after the project is delivered?

Any bug that is in scope of the original build is fixed at no extra cost within a reasonable warranty period (agreed in your contract). Issues arising from new content, third-party updates or changes outside the original scope are handled through our support plans.

Can you take over maintenance of an existing site or app we did not build with you?

Yes. We audit the existing codebase and infrastructure, flag any concerns, and take over maintenance. We do this regularly for clients switching from previous agencies or in-house teams.

Do you offer training so our team can manage things ourselves?

Yes — where we have built a CMS, e-commerce admin or dashboard your team will use day to day, we include a handover session and written documentation as standard. Additional training workshops can be arranged if needed.
